The Lives We Throw Away

We live in a world of entitled cowards that criminalize the wounds they have created on the wounded. Yet, at the same time, they attempt to redirect the focus of our society’s light away from the evidence of their unethical and criminal acts.

How can we trust a politician or a state’s commitment to protecting the health of our children? Yet, at the same time, its founding documents provide them the right to profit off the damage among us when we reach adulthood.

In this capitalistic republic, the state profits from our success. At the same time, the state profits from our failure; simultaneously, the people pay the price.

No proper form of state executes the crime it judged to achieve justice. So let the politicians among us, without sin, inject the needle, pull the trigger, or flip the switch.
